Dear Sir,–I enjoyed reading Ann Penstone’s contribution on “Cultivating the Stove Pipe Waist,” in your issue of June 30th. I, too, would be delighted to hear of other readers’ experience in developing this remarkable attenuated figure.
Miss Penstone refers to an illustrated magazine article on the elongated or pipe waist, which she had read some few years ago. I should like very much to see this article. Is there any way I can find out the name of the magazine, and the date?
It may interest you to know that among my acquaintances there are several who are eagerly looking forward from week to week for the new issue of your delightful paper, with its breezy stories and very interesting letters from readers on kindred subjects.
